A new law in New Jersey allows terminally ill patients to end their lives. This is a story I co-produced during my internship at CBS News. My team covered the New Jersey “Aid in Dying” act that went into effect on August 1st, 2019. Our story was awarded 1st place in the intern project competition and aired on CBSN, along with a short interview about the making of the story.
